Up or Down?

Do you gravitate toward the updo or something down?

Ingredients to look for...

Charcoal in a hair product?

If you settle on an updo, consider how much product you will likely have to use to make it happen. Hairspray, texturizers, gels, and hair wax are all used to keep hair in perfect place. These are great for styling, but absolutely terrible for hair health! You'll need to detox your hair and scalp afterward, so think CHARCOAL for your hair. Luckily, our SAVE ME FROM Product Overload features charcoal as well as black kaolin, both perfect for a detox. Take one of our 15mL mini deluxe SAVE ME FROM Product Overload treatments with you to detox your hair while you relax on your honeymoon! (Pro tip: it actually works GREAT as a texturizer on its own! No need to use something harmful to get the look you need!)

Marine Brown Algae?

It might sound unusual...but we stand by the heat protective properties of such a crucial ingredient in our SAVE ME FROM Thermal Obsession! Marine life brings life, shine and strength back to damaged hair with the added bonus of superior heat protection.

Carob Seed and Vegetable Protein

These ingredients are only in our SAVE ME FROM Chemical Conflict, one of our bestselling products designed to combat damage due to chemical treatments like bleach, dye, and relaxants. A protein-rich, chocolate-like seed and a vegetable protein pump up hair strength by helping to reduce porosity and delivering total anti-breakage benefits. Strength and color stay in, weakness out!

Braids or Buns?

What about a bridal braid or bridal bun?

This is not a side hustle this is my full time career. Weddings are my bread and butter and with COVID they came to a complete halt. 🤍 I am SO happy to be back working a few weddings! I enjoy meeting each one of you beautiful brides and bridesmaids that sit in my chair over the years. Some even become longtime friends! 🤍 Today was a great welcome back to the first of what felt like a “normal” wedding I have done since COVID19 in March. 🤍 @ericadcampbell (Yes my bride today was named Erica too! Erica’s are awesome and it was meant to be) THANK YOU for choosing me to be a part of your most special day, & thanks for helping me get my bridal “makeup mojo” back. Whatever you choose, we hope you remember the 3 basics of taking care of your hair so you can really rock those expensive wedding photos!

Taking Care of Wedding Hair

1. Getting some root touch ups, or some highlights to brighten the look? You're going to need to strengthen your hair to avoid breakage and split ends! Do a treatment of Chemical Conflict before you go on for that appointment, and another treatment that night! This will ensure that your hair is strong enough to handle the rest of the wedding look!

2. Once you are ready to start blow-drying, curling, or straightening, you'll want to make sure you don't completely dry out your hair, or you'll start seeing more breakage, as well as frizz and flyaways. Our Thermal Obsession does a beautiful job completely rebuilding those bonds on the inside of the hair shaft and then laying down the cuticle for shine and seamless combing. You can use it as a heat protectant, or a 30 minute wash out treatment right before.

3. As I mentioned above, if you need a little texture for braiding, you might like our Product Overload as a replacement for those harmful chemically infusing texturizers on the market (or worse, hair spray!) However, if you opt into using some styling products, just do a quick 10 minute detox with Product Overload to restore freshness, and cleanse your scalp fully before enjoying your honeymoon!
